Ms. Diane K. Forbes Deas, age 54, departed this life on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center, Statesboro, GA.

Diane was a resident of Statesboro GA for the last 13 years. Diane was a native of Paterson, New Jersey, educated in the Paterson school system, and graduated from Passaic County Technical High School.

Diane had an extensive work history that ended prematurely due to her illness. However, her main job was being a devoted mother to Pashaad Bethea.

She was the second child to Carla and the late Robert Henry Forbes.

She was also predeceased in death by her firstborn son Michael Dwann Deas and other relatives.

She leaves to cherish fond memories with her son, Pashaad Bethea; mother, Carla Forbes; sisters, Banita Herndon and Evelyn Williams (Troy). A host of relatives and friends from Statesboro GA and Paterson, NJ.

Diane had an infectious sense of humor that would brighten up any room she entered. She was the life of the party. In addition, she enjoyed shooting pool, dancing, cooking, and hanging out with her family and friends. I refuse to leave out her excellent left hook. (LOL)

The Funeral will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 10:00a.m at Carnie P. Braggs Funeral Home, 256 Rosa Parks Blvd, Paterson, NJ 07501. A Zoom link is pending.

A memorial is to be announced in Statesboro, GA.
