Mrs. Pearlie Mae Lockhart Armstrong

With sadness and compassion, Craig R. Tremble Funeral Homes, Inc, Statesboro Chapel, along with the Armstrong Family, announce the passing of Mrs. Pearlie Mae Armstrong.

Mrs. Pearlie Mae Lockhart- Armstrong (also known as Dollbaby), age 79, of Savannah, GA., passed on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at her residence. She was born to the late Fayette "Fate" and Queen Roberts-Lockhart on January 11, 1942. She was a Bulloch County native but resided in Chatham County. She retired from the Georgia State Prison in Reidsville, GA. after 17 years. She was a member of Ephesus Faith Deliverance Holiness Church of Christ in Savannah, GA. under the leadership of Pastor Mary E. Bynes. 

She is preceded in death by her sisters Madine Pryor and Annie Mae Roberson; brothers Lee fate and Otis Lockhart.

She leaves to cherish precious and fond memories with her husband Slaten Armstrong of Savannah, GA.; her only child Freddie (Camelia) Lockhart, Sr. of Augusta, GA.; step children Charles Armstrong and Gail Armstrong both of Savannah, GA.; sisters Jereline Washington of Statesboro, GA., Josie Mae (Aaron) Cone of Brooklet, GA.; brothers Herbert Billy (Eloise) Lockhart of Brooklet, GA., John Lockhart of Statesboro, GA., Glen Doy Lockhart of  Marina, CA.; four grandchildren Eric McCoy of Midland, TX., Freddie Jr., Micah, and Faith all of Augusta, GA., four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A walk-through viewing will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM, in the Statesboro Chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Homes, Inc.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM, at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home Statesboro Chapel, 238 West Main Street, Statesboro, GA 30458.  Pastor Donald Chavers Jr. will be the eulogist.

Internment will be held at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 121 Mt. Olive Church Road, Register, GA 30452.

Due to COVID-19, we will adhere to social distancing and we are requiring that a mask be worn if you plan to attend the walk-through viewing or the celebration of life service.
