Mr. Courtney Tramaine Rich Obituary

With sadness and compassion, Craig R. Tremble Funeral Homes, Inc, Statesboro Chapel, along with the Rich family of Statesboro, Ga., announce the passing of Mr. Courtney Tramaine Rich.  Mr. Courtney Tramaine Rich, age 40, passed on Monday, February 22, 2021 at 5:43pm at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C. after a brief illness.

He was a Bulloch County native and a 1999 graduate of Statesboro High School.  He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where he served on the usher ministry.  He deeply loved his family and being involved in church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Rich; his father Angus “Termite” Jackson Jr.; his grandfather, Jeff Rich, his grandmother, Helen Rich; his aunt Mercile Rich

He is survived by his sisters; Shaunika Pearsall, Tenisha Jackson and Shantika Williams and Angelica Jackson all of Statesboro, Ga., Gloria Jackson of Atlanta, Ga.; his brothers, Tron Rich and Tory Rich both of Statesboro, Ga.; his grandmother, Grace Millen of Statesboro, Ga, and his grandfather, Angus Jackson Sr. of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; his aunts, Faye (Curtis) Rich-Hobbs and Gwen Rich both of Statesboro, Ga.; his uncles, Jeff Rich, Randy Rich, Johnny Rich and Wayne Jackson; great uncles, Johnny Littles, Joseph Littles and Johnny Jackson Jr. all of Statesboro, Ga., Frank Hayton of Claxton, Ga., Vincent Peterson and Daniel Peterson both of Savannah, Ga., and Johnny Peterson of Atlanta, Ga.; his great-aunts, Virginia Bazemore of Savannah, Ga., Irma Perkins of Nevils, Ga., Pearl Wiggins and Vern Lanier both of Statesboro, Ga., Ruth Robbins of Savannah, Ga., Annie Bell Jackson of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Mary Barlow of Atlanta, Ga.; special cousins, Jerrion Rich, Jarred Rich, Dora Robbins, Kenny Rich, Curtavious Hobbs, Precious Rich, Nay Nay Rich, Brittney Tremble and special niece Kenya Smith; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A walk-through viewing will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM and also on Sunday February 28, 2021 from 12;00 noon - 2:00pm, in the Statesboro Chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Homes, Inc.

A graveside service will be private with family only.

Due to COVID-19, we will adhere to social distancing and we are requiring that a mask be worn if you plan to attend the walk-through viewing or the graveside celebration of life service.
