Joseph Francis Walker, Jr.

Mr. Joseph Francis Walker Jr., age 55, of Savannah, Ga., passed at his residence on Thursday, February 6, 2020. He was a native of New York, but has resided in Savannah since 2012.

He is a graduate of Valley Forge Military Academy of Wayne, Pennsylvania. Mr. Walker also received his degree in Computer Technology from the Atlanta Area Technical College of Atlanta, Ga.

He is survived by his children Jomel Walker of Alanta, Ga., Esau Walker and Taleah Walker both of Longbranch, N.J.; his mother Mrs. Gladys Walker of Savannah, Ga.; his sister Cassandra Walker Dunham of Atlanta, Ga.; aunts Betty Smith (Comer) Flynn of Savannah, Ga., Etta Mae Walker Graham of Hillsboro, N.J.; uncle Mr. Isaac Walker of Savannah, Ga.; niece Valerie Dunham of Atlanta, Ga.; nephews Vernest Walker and Walter Dunham both of Atlanta, Ga., and a host of other relatives and friends.

Home Going Celebration Services for Mr. Joseph Walker Jr. will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at the Speedwell United Methodist Church, 7259 Skidaway Road, Savannah, Ga., at 1 p.m., with Rev. Craig R. Tremble, eulogist.
 

Internment services will follow the service at the Old Church Cemetery in Savannah, Ga.
