Mr. John Edward “Pimp” Weaver. Age 66 of Statesboro, GA., passed peacefully at his residence Friday morning, January 1, 2021. John, as he was affectionately known to all, was born in Statesboro, Ga to the late Mr. Horace Weaver and Mrs. Laura Bell Mathis Weaver.
He attended the Bulloch County Schools and was a former gifted tailor and clothing designer. His patented name for his clothing line was “Pimp”.
He is preceded in death by his two brothers; Mr. Horace Weaver Jr. and Mr. George Mathis. He leaves to cherish his memories his children; Brandon Jontia Davis Sr., Brittiny Nickel; his grandchildren, Brandon Jontia Davis Jr., Romon Nickel Jr and Treston Davis; his three sisters, Della Mathis of Savannah, Ga., Mamie (Robert) Leek of Macon, Ga., Angela Reddick of Statesboro, Ga.,; his two brothers, Rev. Charles ( Pastor Cecile) Weaver of Portal, Ga.. and Willie (Gayla) Weaver of Statesboro, Ga.and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and lots friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Grady Street Park.
Rev. Charles Weaver will be giving words of comfort.
