Mr. Willie Brooks Thompson, age 68, passed away peacefully Monday August 5th at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Center after an extended illness. He was a Bulloch County native and retired from the Bulloch County Board of Education. He is survived by his loving daughters Mrs. Jennifer Clark Hooker(Jules) of Pooler, Ga., and Ms. Shay Thompson of Statesboro, Ga.; a loving sister Mrs. Almaritta T. Brown(Lloyd) of Hagin, Ga.; his loving brothers Mr. Jame Wilbert Thompson of Glennville, Ga., Mr. Earl Thompson(Joyce) of St. Petersburg, Fl., Mr. Emmanuel Thompson(Margaret), Mr. John W. Thompson, and Mr. George Thompson(Arabell) all of Statesboro, Ga., and Mr. Rudolph Thompson(Beulah) of New York; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family visitations will be held Friday August 9th from 7-8 pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Graveside service for Mr. Willie Thompson will be Saturday August 10th at 11am at the Bulloch Memorial Gardens, Hwy 80 East, Statesboro, Ga., with Rev. Andrew Johnson, officiating. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
