Mr. Willie James Junior Reed, Jr., age 79, passed on Thursday evening February 25, 2016 at his residence in Boston, Massachusetts. He was a Bulloch County native, but resided in Boston, Massachusetts for over 25 years. Willie James Junior Reed, Jr. (Uncle Buck) made a grand entrance into this earthly home on March 28, 1936 to his parents, the late Willie Columbus Reed Sr. (Bubba) and Lola Mae McCullough Reed in Stilson, Georgia. At an early age, he joined Jerusalem A.M.E. Church. Uncle Buck as he was affectionately known to all who knew and loved him. He was great provider for his familya working man, a Godly man and community man. He loved gardening, family, fishing, and fun. He was preceded in death by his brother, Winston Danky Reed; sisters, Angie Reed Wilkerson, Georgia Mae Reed Banks, Wilma Reed Brinson, Irene Reed Gallmon, Geraldine Reed Dreher, and Iris Reed. He is survived by his loving children Ms. Frances Reed of Statesboro, Ga., Ms. Teresa Reed of Boston, Massachusetts, Mr. Calvin Walker (Irene) of Metter, Georgia, Mr. Charles Walker (Angie) of Savannah, Georgia, Mr. Bernard Reed (Angie) of Brooklet, Georgia, Mr. Donnell Reed of Columbus, Ohio, and Mr. Isaac Smith of Jacksonville, Florida; his loving sisters Ms. Christine Roberson of Hampton, Virginia, Mrs. Helen Garrett (Robert) of Erie, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Linda Smith (Smitty) of Orlando, Florida, Ms. Antoinette Sneed of Dorchester, Massachusetts, Mrs. Brenda Womack (Al) and Mrs. Diane Porter (Albert) both of Lynn, Massachusetts; his loving brothers Mr. Harry Reed (Marlene) of Columbus, Ohio, Mr. Terry Reed (Janet) of Bainbridge, Massachusetts, Mr. Lewis Reed and Mr. Amos Reed both of Dorchester, Massachusetts; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; a special family friend, Michael Hall; two special great nephews and fishing buddies, Anthony Lawson and Zoland Dangerfield; other fishing buddies; Willie, Willie, Willie and Walter; and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing for Mr. Willie James Reed Jr. will be held Saturday March 5, 2016 from 10am-11am in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Home Going Celebration for Mr. Willie James Reed Jr. will be held Saturday March 5, 2016 at 11am in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, 238 West Main Street, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Frankie Owens, Sr., Officiating. Interment will be held in Jerusalem A.M.E Church Cemetery, Leefield Community. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
