Mrs. Veronica Love, age 80, passed away Wednesday morning April 17th at East Georgia Regional Medical Center after a short illness. She was a Bulloch County native and a member of the Mount Zion A.M.E Church where she sang in the adult choir. She graduated from Sandridge Community School and Swainsboro Vocational Technical School. She retired from Cooper Weiss of Statesboro, Ga. She is survived by her husband Buddise Love of Statesboro, Ga.; her children Keishya Love and Robert Smith both of Statesboro, Ga., Brenda Keel of Malden, Mass., Freddie Mae Jones of Dorchester, Mass., Fred Keel Jr. of Massachusetts, and Tia Davis of Pooler, Ga.; a sister Aurther Mae Hill of Tallahassee, Fl.; a special grandson Jeffrey Love of Statesboro, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family visitations will be Monday April 22nd from 7-8pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Funeral services for Mrs. Veronica Love will be Tuesday April 23rd at 1pm at Mount Zion A.M.E Church, Hwy. 24 East, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Raphael Smith, Officiating and Rev. Earl Perkins, Pastor. Burial will be held in Bulloch Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hwy. 80 East, Statesboro, Ga. Mrs. Veronica Love will lie-in-state from 12pm until funeral hour, no viewing after eulogy. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
