Thomas Williams Obituary Mr. Thomas Williams, age 80, of Statesboro, Ga., passed peacefully on Friday, September 25th, at Memorial Hospital of Jacksonville, Fl., after a brief illness. He was a Bulloch County native and retired as a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of the Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed life, fishing and spending quality time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife Mrs. Geraldine Parks Williams of Statesboro, Ga.; his children Cecile Jackson, Judy (Tony) Connely, Tommie Jean Williams, Lorri Williams, John Thomas Williams all of Statesboro, Ga., Christina (Larry) Bing of Savannah, Ga., Gary (Felicia) Williams of Atlanta,Ga., and Neacewa Hunter of Virginia; sister Mary Byrd of Statesboro, Ga.; a host of grandchildren, relatives and friends. Celebration of Life Services will be held graveside on Friday, October 2nd, at 11 AM in New Hope Baptist Church cemetery in Register, Ga., with Rev. Harry J. Tremble, eulogist. A walk-through viewing will be held on Thursday, October 1st, from 5 to 7 PM at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel.
