Mr. Thomas Dickerson, age 79, passed away Wednesday evening September 16th at East Georgia Regional Medical Center, after an extended illness. He was a Bulloch County native. He resided in Brooklyn, N.Y. for over 40 years before moving back home to Statesboro, Ga. He retired as a custodian and was a member of Statesboro Mission Outreach Ministries Church. He is survived by his loving children Ms. Doris Dickerson and Ms. Clotilda Dickerson both Brooklyn, N.Y., Ms. Glenda Dickerson of Statesboro, Ga., Mr. James Dickerson of New York, and Mr. Walter G. Dickerson of Jacksonville, Fl.; his loving sisters Mrs. Mary Huff of Statesboro, Ga., and Mrs. Louise Robbins of Claxton, Ga.; a loving brother Mr. James Dickerson of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing for Mr. Thomas Dickerson will be held Saturday September 19, 2015 from 2-8pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Home Going Celebration for Mr. Thomas Dickerson will be held Sunday September 20, 2015 at 1:30pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, 238 West Main Street, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Craig R. Tremble, Officiating. Interment will be held in Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of services.
