Mrs. Thelma Fields, age 91, of Pembroke, Ga., passed peacefully into eternal rest at her residence on Thursday April 1st, under the professional care of Hospice Savannah. She was a Bryan County native. She retired as a Para-Professional with the Bryan County School System. She was a faithful member of the St. John A.M.E Church of Pembroke, Ga., where she served as church secretary and in many other ministries. She is survived by her daughters Ms. Doris Fields, Mrs. Hattie Marie Allen, Ms. Shelia Fields and Mrs. Bernadette Smoakes all of Pembroke, Ga., and Mrs. Evonn Dixion of Atlanta, Ga.; her sons Mr. Frank(Carolyn) Fields, Mr. Jessie(Annie) Fields, and Mr. Bernard(Chandra) Fields all of Pembroke, Ga., and Mr. Anthony(Natalie) Fields of Millegeville, Ga.; her sister Mrs. Catherine(Herman) Mobley of Savannah, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family visitations will be Monday April 8th from 6-8pm at St. John A.M.E Church, Pembroke, Ga. Funeral services for Mrs. Thelma Fields will be Tuesday April 9th at 11am at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, Groveland Ga. Interment will be held in Stevens Grove Cemetery. Craig R.
