Obituary

Terry Brown Obituary Mr. Terry Brown, age 59, passed on Wednesday August 22nd at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. He was born to the late James & Lillie Mae Burdin Brown. He was a Bulloch County native, having resided in Atlanta, Ga., for over 20 years before returning back to Statesboro, Ga. He was a 1978 graduate of Statesboro High School and furthered his studies at Savannah States University formerly Savannah State College. He attended Perimeter College of Atlanta, Ga., and received a certificate in carpentry from Atlanta Technical College of Atlanta, Ga. He was employed with Briggs & Straton of Statesboro, Ga., until his health failed. He was the former sole proprietor with Atlanta Dependable Couriers of Atlanta, Ga. He is survived by a loving son Mr. Quinton Brown of Lithonia, Ga.; his loving sisters Mrs. Beverly (Rev. Lewis) Wilson of Conyers, Ga., Mrs. Marsha Twiggs of Statesboro, Ga., and Mrs. Polly Brown Lawton of Stockbridge, Ga.; his loving brothers Mr. Benton Burdin of Neptune, N.J., and Mr. Reginald B. (Janette) Brown of Decatur, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends visitations will be held Friday August 31, 2018 from 7-8pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Home Going Celebration for Mr. Terry Brown will be held Saturday September 1, 2018 at 11am at the Greater Bethel A.M.E Church, 3 Peachtree Street, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Deborah Lanier-Scott, Officiating/Pastor. Interment will be held in Eastside Cemetery, Northside Drive, Statesboro, Ga. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
