Mr. Sylvester Bubba Swinson Jr., age 58 of Statesboro, Ga., passed away on Monday February 8th at Candler County Hospital in Metter, Ga. He was a Bulloch County native. He was veteran of United States Marines Corp. He attended Williams Grove Church of God In Christ of Statesboro, Ga. He is survived by his loving children Sylvester Swinson III of Port Huron, MI., Christopher Jackson, Sylvia Jackson, and Carlos Jackson all of Boston, Mass., Kontray Jackson and Keyaka Elijah both of Savannah, Ga., James Slater of Pembroke, Ga.; his loving sisters Ms. Janie L. Perry of Augusta, Ga., Mrs. Emma Swinson Gaskin and Mrs. Helen Swinson Perkins both of Statesboro, Ga.; his loving brothers Mr. Karl Franklin (Patricia) Swinson of Portwentworth, Ga., Mr. Randy Lee (Kesha) Swinson and Mr. Leon (Linda) Swinson both of Statesboro, Ga.; a loving aunt Ms. Jackie Swinson of Philadelphia, Pa.; a loving uncle Mr. James Edward Moore of Jacksonville, Fl.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Home Going Celebration for Mr. Sylvester Swinson Jr. will be held Saturday February 20, 2016 at 11am at the Williams Grove Church of God In Christ, 32 Pulaski Road, Statesboro, Ga., with Superintendent Kenneth Thomas, Officiating/Pastor. Interment will be held in Eastside Cemetery, East Oliff Street, Statesboro, Ga. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
