Mrs. Susie Mae Ellison, age 85, passed away peacefully on Monday June 19th after an extended illness at Heritage Inn Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was an Emmauel County native having resided in Bulloch County for many years. She retired from Georgia Southern University as a Custodian. She was a member of the Holy Zion Holiness Church of Statesboro, Ga. She is survived by a daughter Mrs. Maggie(Terry) Kelly of Statesboro, Ga.; three sons Mr. Edward(Annie) Ellison of Portal, Ga., Mr. Eugene(Debolia) Wright of Statesboro, Ga., and Mr. Robert(Betty) Percell, Jr. of Miami, Fl.; a sister Mrs. Gussie Lee Knight of Metter, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday June 23, 2012 at 2pm at Pine Grove Holiness Church, Portal, Ga., with Bishop Cecil Newton, officiating. Interment will be held in Parrish Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Twin City, Ga. Family visitations will be Friday June 22, 2012 from 7-8pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel.
