Ms. Sharell Mercer, age 29 of Statesboro, Ga., passed away on Friday evening. She was a Bulloch County native and a member of Bethel Primitive Baptist Church of Statesboro, Ga. She was a 2006 graduate of the Statesboro High School. She was employed with Dollar General Store of Statesboro, Ga. She is survived by her loving children Chalanta Mercer, Dontavius Hamilton, Damarien Hamilton, Kylie Mercer, and Juaquin Brown Jr., all of Statesboro, Ga.; a loving mother Mrs. Barbara (Carey) Watkins of Statesboro, Ga.; a loving father Mr. Leon Mosley of Chesapeake Bay, Virginia; her loving sibilings Kimberly Mercer of Brooklet, Ga., Keisha Budgett of Fort Riley, Kansas, Shantell Mercer of Statesboro, Ga., Brandon Mosley, Leon Mosley, Jr., Aurielle Mosley, Tristan Mosley, and Reid Mosley all of Chesapeake Bay, Virginia; her loving grandparents Ms. Jaunita Mercer of Statesboro, Ga., Mr. & Mrs. Leo (Rose Mary) Mosely of Portal, Ga., Mrs. Redadiuis Platt of Sumter, S.C., and Mr. Willie Leroy (Sara) Mercer of Sylvania, Ga.; her best and loving friends Tiffany Littles and Candace Robins both of Statesboro, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing will be held Friday March 17, 2017 from 1-8pm at the Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Home Going Celebration for Ms. Sharell Mercer will be Saturday March 18, 2017 at 11am at the Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, Statesboro, Ga., with Elder Gary Wallace, Officiating/Pastor. Interment will be held in Eastside Cemetery, Hwy. 80, Statesboro, Ga. Ms. Sharell Mercer will lie-in-state from 10am until funeral hour. There will be no viewing after eulogy. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
