Obituary

Deacon Seabrooke Lavant, age 74, of Pembroke, Ga., passed peacefully away on Saturday November 1st at Memorial Health Medical Center of Savannah, Ga., after an extended illness. He retired from Hercules Incorporation as a mechanic operator. He was member of Beautiful Zion Baptist Church of Pembroke, Ga., where he served as a Deacon. He is survived by his loving son Mr. Clinton Lavant of Pembroke, Ga.; his loving sisters Mrs. Betty Givens of Delaware, and Mrs. Linda Bush of Bronx, New York; a loving brother Mr. Willie J. Lavant of Savannah, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends visitations will be Friday November 8th from 7-8pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel. Home Going Celebrations for Deacon Seabrooke Lavant will be Saturday November 8th at 12:30pm at Beautiful Zion Baptist Church, Pembroke, Ga., with the Rev. Harry James Tremble, Jr., Presiding and the Pastor Ernest Harris, Eulogist. Interment will be held in Church Cemetery. Deacon Seabrooke Lavant will lie-in-state from 11:30am until funeral hour. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
