Mrs. Sallie Brown, age 70 of Portal, Ga., passed into eternal rest on Sunday morning January 5th after a extended illness at Selective Specialty Hospital in Augusta, Ga. She was native of Emmanuel County. She resided in Cambridge, Mass., for over 30 years before moving back to Bulloch County. She retired from Vernon Hall Nursing Home. She was a member of the Holy Zion Holiness Church of Statesboro, Ga. She is survived by her loving son Mr. Alexander Brown of Portal, Ga.; her loving sister Mrs. Azalene Dunn of Summersville, Mass.; her loving brothers Mr. Leo Mosley(Rose Mary) and Mr. W.C. Mosley(Sula) both of Portal, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family visitations for Mrs. Sallie Brown will be Friday January 10th from 7-8pm at the Holy Zion Holiness Church, Soloman Circle, Statesboro, Ga. Home going celebration for Mrs. Sallie Brown will be Saturday January 11th at 11am in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, 238 West Main Street, Statesboro, Ga., with Rev. Shane Mosley, officiating. Interment will be held in Eastside Cemetery, East Oliff Street, Statesboro, Ga. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
