Mrs. Sabrina McBride Rivers, age 57, the daughter of the late Boisy McBride, Jr. and Geraldine McBride was born on July 24, 1957 in Statesboro, Ga. She passed away peacefully on January 11, 2015 after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by one sibling Donald McBride and her father Boisy McBride, Jr. She received her education through the public schools of Bulloch County graduating from Southeast Bulloch High School in 1975. She attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Ga. She graduated from Georgia Southern College with a degree in Psychology. She retired from American General Insurance Company. She became a member of Little Bethel Baptist Church at an early age. She served on the Usher Board and worked diligently until she felt it was time to move so a younger member could serve. She then joined the Pastor's Aid and worked faithfully for many years. She was joined in holy matrimony to Randy Rivers, and they were blessed with one daughter, Jessica Rivers. She leaves to cherish precious and fond memories her loving mother Geraldine McBride of Brooklet, Ga.; a loving and devoted daughter Jessica Rivers of Tampa, Fl.; two sisters Joan Hendrix(Deon) of Statesboro, Ga., and Angie McBride of Brooklet, Ga.; four brothers Gregory McBride of Atlanta, Ga., June Harrison of Miami, Fl., Albert McBride of Irmo, S.C., and Chris McBride(Sandra) of Statesboro, Ga.; a special and devoted friend Sylvester Raymond of Brooklet, Ga.; seven nephews, eight nieces, and a host of cousins, uncles, aunts, and other relatives and friends. Viewing for Sabrina Rivers will be Friday January 16th from 1-7pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Celebration of Life services for Sabrina Rivers will be Saturday January 17th at 12pm at the Little Bethel Baptist Church, Brooklet, Ga., with the Rev. Craig R. Tremble, Presiding and the Pastor John T. McPhatter, Eulogist. Mrs. Sabrina Rivers will lie-in-state from 11am until funeral hour, there will be no viewing after eulogy. Craig R.
