Ruthie Douglas Obituary Mrs. Ruthie Douglas, age 73, of Statesboro, Ga., passed peacefully on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Ga., surrounded by her family. She was a Bulloch county native and a member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Brooklet, Ga. Mrs. Douglas is survived by her loving children Mr. John C. (Sonya) Kirkland, Mr. Ronald Kirkland both of Statesboro, Ga.; sisters Mrs. Mary (Walter) Nelson, Mrs. Helen (Jimmy) Raymond both of Statesboro, Ga., Mrs. Vernell Hendrix of Hinesville, Ga.; brothers Mr. Derrix (Evonne) Kirkland, Mr. Willie (Willie Mae) Kirkland both of Statesboro, Ga., Mr. Charles Hendrix of Atlanta, Ga., and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. Graveside service and Interment will be on Saturday, May 30, 2020, 11 a.m. at Bulloch Memorial Gardens, 22204 US Hwy 80, with Rev. Craig R. Tremble, eulogist. A public walk-through viewing will be on Friday, May 22, 2020 from 5-7 p.m. in the chapel of Craig R.
