Deaconess Roxie Williams, age 104, of Pembroke, Ga., peacefully entered her master joy on Friday August 8th at 8:30pm after an extended illness at Abercorn Rehabilitation Center in Savannah, Ga., under the care of Hospice Savannah. She was a homemaker and a member of The House of God Church of Pembroke, Ga. She is survived by her loving children Mrs. Mary Hardy of Pembroke, Ga., Mrs. Sarah Smith(Clarence) of Lanier, Ga., Mr. Alfonza Hagan(Carolyn) and Mr. Curtis Rawls(Gerri) both of Statesboro, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing will be held Friday August 15th from 2-8pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel. Home Going Celebration for Mrs. Roxie Williams will be Saturday August 16th at 11am at The House of God Church Kieth Dominion, Pembroke, Ga., with Elder Gerald Lott, Presiding, Bishop Dr. Clary K. Butler, Eulogist/Pastor, and Bishop Rebecca Fletcher, Chief Overseer. Interment will be held in Mt. Zion A.M.E Church Cemetery, Statesboro, Ga. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
