Obituary

Mrs. Rose Lee Campbell Moore, born April 6, 1925, entered into eternal rest the morning of Thursday, March 7, 2013, in Bayshore Long Island, N.Y. She is the daughter of the late Henry and Mamie McKeever Campbell of Bulloch County, Georgia. Rose Lee was a dedicated employee of William James High School until her retirement. She joined Second Saint John at an early age and served faithfully until her illness prevented. Rose Lee Campbell Moore loved her church family and was known to many as the "Mother" of Second Saint John. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years Lee Edward "Boddie" Moore, two brothers Roosevelt and Willie Campbell and two sisters Janie Campbell and Corine Hendrix. She leaves to cherish her memories two devoted daughters Carolyn Moore Burrello(Fernando Sr.) and Marilyn Moore Caul(Lyle); five grandchildren Fernando Jr.(April), Bryan Burello, Lyle Jr. and Carolyn Caul of Bayshore Long Island, N.Y., and Eric Burrello of New Hampshire; three great-grandchildren Brianna and Bryan Burrello Jr., and Maxwell MacTaggart; a sister Geraldine Odom Lemon and a brother Johnny Odom of Richmond, VA.; a sister-in-law Carrie Swinson of Bayshore Long Island, N.Y.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Family visitations will be Friday March 15, 2013 from 7-8pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Funeral services for Mrs. Rose Lee Campbell Moore will be Saturday March 16, 2013 at 11am at Second Saint John Missionary Baptist Church, Fair Road, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Craig R. Tremble, Pastor/Eulogist. Interment will be held in Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Rose Lee Moore Memorial. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
