Mr. Robert McGhee, age 78, of Pembroke, Ga., passed away on Thursday August 11th evening at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. He retired from the Bryan County Road Department and Continental Can Company of Pembroke, Ga. He was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church of Pembroke, Ga. He was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star Lodge #58 of Pembroke, Ga. He is survived by his loving wife Mrs. Betty K. McGhee of Pembroke, Ga.; his loving daugters Ms. Tammy McGhee of Columbus, Ohio and Kimberly McGhee of Pembroke, Ga.,; his loving brothers Mr. George McGhee of Belle Mont, Alabama, and Mr. Willie James Williams of Kentucky; his loving grandchildren Shawn Smith and Dy'Amond P.K. McGhee; a loving aunt Mrs. Lula Mae McGhee; and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing for Mr. Robert McGhee will be held Saturday August 20, 2016 from 6-8 pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel. Home Going Celebration for Mr. Robert McGhee will be held Sunday August 21, 2016 at 2pm at the Mount Moriah Baptist Church, 185 South Poplar Street, Pembroke, Ga., with the Rev. Dr. Francys Johnson, Officiating/Pastor. Interment will be held in the Northside Cemetery, Ash Branch Road, Pembroke, Ga. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
