Mrs. Rebecca Robertson, age 90, of Brooklet, Ga., passed peacefully away on Friday morning July 29th at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center, after a brief illness. She was a Screven County native, but resided in Bulloch County for many years. She was a member of the Mt. Zion A.M.E Church of Statesboro, Ga. She is survived by her loving children Willie Robertson(Oma), Bessie Robertson, Joseph Robertson all of Brooklet, Ga., Eddie Roe Robertson(Dawn) of Savannah, Ga., Shirley Sims(John) and Mamie Holloway(Freddie) both of Statesboro, Ga., Wilma Skipper(Nathan) and Stephanie Lipscomb both of Atlanta, Ga., Lena McIntosh(George) and Mary Escorcia(Ray) both of Long Island, N.Y.; a loving step-sister Dorothy Hamilton of Brooklet, Ga.; a loving sister-in-law Latisha Eason of Reidsville, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family visitations for Mrs. Rebecca Robertson will be Friday August 5, 2016 from 7-8pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro chapel. Home Going Celebration for Mrs. Rebecca Robertson will be held Saturday August 6, 2016 at 11am at the Mt. Zion A.M.E Church, Hwy. 24 East, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Craig R. Tremble, Officiating and the Rev. Earl Perkins, Pastor. Interment will be held in Church Cemetery. Mrs. Rebecca Robertson will lie-in-state from 10am until funeral hour. There will be no viewing after eulogy. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
