Deacon Randy Goodman Sr., age 54 passed peacefully into eternal rest on Friday November 21st at his residence in Portal, Ga., under the care of Hospice Advantage. He was a Bulloch County native. He was a barber and manger of Roberson Barbershop for the past 25 years. He was a member of the Williams Grove Church of God in Christ of Statesboro where he was chairman of the Deacon Ministry. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Mrs. Patricia Goodman of Portal, Ga.; his loving children Kimberly Mikell and Parker Goodman(Tiffany) both of Statesboro, Ga., Randy Goodman Jr.(Jessica) and Yolanda(Kenneth Jr.) Thomas both of Millen, Ga., and Shawn Goodman(Pamela) of Atlanta, Ga.; his loving parents Rufus and Ernestine Goodman, Jr. of Statesboro, Ga.; his loving sisters Kathy Jackson and Sherry Grant(Peter) both of Statesboro, Ga.; his loving brothers Rufus Goodman III(Vivan) and Ricky Goodman both of Statesboro, Ga.; his loving mother-in-law Mrs. Ethel Eudell Jones of Portal, Ga.; 15 Grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends visitation will be Thursday November 27th from 7-8pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home. Home Going Celebration for Deacon Randy Goodman Sr., will be Friday November 28th at 11am at Williams Grove Church of God In Christ, Hwy. 25, Millen, Ga., with the Superintendent Kenneth Thomas, Eulogist/Pastor and the Elder Fionn Thomas, Presiding. Interment will be held in Church Cemetery. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
