Mrs. Quida Inez Wooten Bennett, age 92, of Statesboro, Ga., passed away on Wednesday morning April 10th at the Azalea Health and Rehabilitation Center in Metter, Ga., after an extended illness. She was a Bulloch County native and retired from Georgia Southern University(Formerly Georgia Southern College), as a cook with Landrum Services. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness of Statesboro, Ga. She is survived by her daughters Mrs. Wanda Mincey(Clifford) of Loganville, Ga., and Mrs. Faye McCray(James) of Metter, Ga.; her sons Mr. Russell Bennett(Melissa), and Rev. Danny Ray Bennett(Verna) both of Statesboro, Ga.; a brother Mr. James Wooten of Augusta, Ga.; two sister-in-laws Mrs. Elizabeth Wooten of Statesboro, Ga., and Mrs. Viere Wooten of Stuart, Fl.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family visitations will be held Friday April 12th from 7-8pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel Home going services will be held Saturday April 13th at 1pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, East Parrish Street, Statesboro, Ga., with Bro. Ozell Burgess, Officiating. Interment will be held in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery, Harville Road, Statesboro, Ga. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of services.
