Ms. Patricia Ann Edwards, age 67, of Lyons, Ga., passed peacefully away on Monday morning July 13th, at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro, Ga. She was a native of Toombs County and a faithful member of St. Luke A.M.E Church in Lyons, Ga. She loved baking for others, laughing with family and friends and attending church. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Joseph and Emma Wimbush of Lyons, Ga.; mother Mary Wimbush Edwards Taylor of New Haven, Connecticut; father John Wesley "J.W." Edwards of Lyons, Ga.; two sisters Thomasine Mincey Weekes of New Haven, Connecticut, Joyce Ann McCrae of Lyons, Ga., brother Herbert "Tony" Mincey of New Haven, Connecticut. She is survived by her daughter Mrs. Tabitha Anderson(Carl) of Brooklet, Ga.; three grandchildren Second Lieutenant Cameron Harris(Alexis) of Tacoma, WA., Ms. Morgan Anderson of Akron, Ohio, and Mr. Carl "L.A." Anderson of Brooklet, Ga.; a loving and devoted brother Mr. Johnny Edwards(Norine) of New Haven, Connecticut.; a special niece who was like a daughter Janice Hunt of Lyons, Ga.; sisters Elder Mary Jones(Danny) of Claxton, Ga., Ms. Karen Edwards and Ms. Julian Ann Arline both of Lyons, Ga., and Earnestine Bradshaw of Jacksonville, Fl.; brothers Mr. Nathaniel Edwards of Melbourne, Fl. and Mr. Joseph Cobb(Terry) of Lyons, Ga.; three great grandchildren Ms. McKenzie Ryan Harris of Tacoma, WA., Tarae and Cleveland Robinson both of Akron, Ohio; also continuing to cherish the memories of Sis. Patricia Ann Edwards and all that knew her are a host of other family and friends. Family and friends visitation will be Monday July 20, 2015 from 6-8pm in the chapel of St. Luke A.M.E Church, 327 East Columbia Avenue, Lyons Ga. 30436 Home Going Celebration for Ms. Patricia Ann Edwards will be held Tuesday July 21, 2015 at 11am at St. Luke A.M.E Church, 327 East Columbia Avenue, Lyons Ga. 30436, with the Rev. Brenda Nobles-Brown, Presiding and the Rev. Clarence Pittman, Eulogist/Pastor. Interment will be held in Macon Cemetery, Lyons, Ga. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
