Pastor Donald E. Bing Sr., age 61, of Hinesville, Ga., passed peacefully away on Sunday evening May 10th at Memorial Health Medical Center in Savannah, Ga. He was a native of Bryan County but resided in Liberty County for many years. He was a 1972 graduate of Russell High School of Fulton County and a veteran of the United States Army. He was employed with the Liberty County Board of Education as a bus driver. He was the Pastor/Teacher of The Word of Life Christian Church of Pembroke, Ga. He is survived by his wife, the love of his life whom he met as a teenager Mrs. Faye Bing of Hinesville, Ga.; a loving daughter Ms. Symeria Bing of Hinesville, Ga.; a loving son Mr. Donald E. Bing Jr. of Port Wentworth, Ga.; his loving mother Mrs. Ruby L. Bing of Pembroke, Ga.; a loving sister Mrs. Diane Flecter-Bing of Pembroke, Ga.; his loving brothers Mr. Johnnie L. Bing(Anita) of Atlanta, Ga., Mr. Harry Bing(Shirley) of Ellenwood, Ga., Mr. James Bing of Stockbridge, Ga., Mr. Lawrence Bing(Linda) of McDonough, Ga., and Mr. Willie Bing(Robbie) of Pembroke, Ga.; three grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Public viewing for Pastor Donald Bing Sr. will be held Friday May 15, 2015 from 3-8pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel. Home Going Celebration for Pastor Donald Bing Sr. will be held Saturday May 16, 2015 at 2pm at The Word of Life Christian Center, Pembroke, Ga., with Minister Ray Smith, Officiating. Interment will be held in Stevens Grove Cemetery, Pembroke, Ga. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
