Pastor Harry Baldwin Sr., age 59, passed peacefully away on Monday morning December 7th at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center. He was a Bulloch County native. He was a member of the Hodges Grove Baptist Church. He was the Pastor of the Hurricane Branch Baptist Church of Millen, Ga. He served as Pastor of Newton Grove Baptist Church, Gay's Hill Baptist Church, and Daniel Grove Baptist Church all of Millen, Ga., and White Oak Baptist Church of Portwentworth, Ga. He was one of the original members of The Mighty Gaylarks. He was employed with ITT Grinnell Corporation. He was a retired School Bus Driver for the Bulloch County Board of Education. He was the owner and operator of First Impression Formal of Statesboro, Ga., for over 15 years of service. He was a member of the Trinity Fellowship Convention. He is survived by his loving wife Mrs. Vera Baldwin of Metter, Ga.; his loving children Ms. Lakika Chaun Baldwin and DeAundrey(Crystal) Baldwin both of Atlanta, Ga., Mr. Harry L.(Dorsey) Baldwin Jr. of Statesboro, Ga., Ms. Crystal Baldwin and Ms. Cheirda Love both of Claxton, Ga., Ms. Shamonica Badie of Pooler, Ga., Mr. Ronnie L.(Sadie) Williams Jr. and Mrs. Ashley M.(Joshua) Lake both of Millen, Ga.; his loving sisters Mrs. Shirley(Rev. Earnest) Harris, Rev. Mattie Harris, Mrs. Gloria(Tony) Wallace, Rev. Christine(Joseph) Humphries, and Mrs. Geraldine(Rev. Harry J. Jr.) Tremble all of Statesboro, Ga.; his loving brothers Mr. Paul E. Baldwin of Fort Meyers, FL., Mr. Willie J. Baldwin of Seattle Washington, Rev. George Bush of Statesboro, Ga., and Rev. Wiley Bush of Twin City, Ga.; an adopted brother Mr. Preston Bo(Verline)Harris of Statesboro, Ga.; sixteen grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends visitation will be held Friday December 11, 2015 from 7-8pm at the Hodges Grove Baptist Church, Miller Street Extension, Statesboro, Ga. Home Going Celebration for Pastor Harry Baldwin Sr. will be held Saturday December 12, 2015 at 2pm at the Miller Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Hwy. 24 East, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Barry Jackson, Presiding, the Rev. Dr. John Harmon, Eulogist , and the Rev. Harry J. Tremble, Jr., Pastor. Interment will be held in the Bulloch Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hwy. 80 East, Statesboro, Ga. Pastor Harry Baldwin Sr. will lie-in-state from 1pm until funeral hour. There will be no viewing after eulogy. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
