With heartfelt sympathy and compassion, Craig R. Tremble Funeral Homes, Inc., Pembroke Chapel, along with the family, announces the passing of Mr. Owerrie Davon Bacon, Sr.

Mr. Owerrie Davon Bacon, Sr., age 49, of Syracuse, New York, transitioned on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at his residence.

He was born in Hinesville, Georgia, and at the age of one was raised in Syracuse, New York, where he spent the remainder of his life building lasting relationships and a strong work ethic. Owerrie worked as a contractor and took great pride in his craft, especially the detailed finish work of painting, which reflected his skill and dedication.

He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Deora Shantel Bacon.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children: JaVaugh Hall, Davon Bacon, Owerrie Davon Bacon, Jr., Owerrie Maleek Bacon, Oryannah Nevach Bacon, and Dedra Lynn Bacon, all of Syracuse, New York; his mother, Lynn Bacon of Pembroke, Georgia; and his sister, Angel Deloris Bacon (Willie) Thompson of Fayetteville, North Carolina. He also leaves behind a host of extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold his memory close.

His life and legacy will be remembered with love, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
