Mrs. Ossie Belle Patterson, age 70, passed away Thursday, January 19th at St. Joseph's Hospital of Savannah, Ga., after a brief illness. She was a native of Orangeburg, S.C., but resided in Pembroke, Ga., for many years. She retired as a secretary with Lorenzo Merit Attorney at Law office of Statesboro, Ga., in 2005. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church of Pembroke, Ga., where she served as church reporter and mission in action. She is survived by her husband Mr. Clarence Patterson of Pembroke, Ga.; two daughters Ms. Brenda Patterson of Liverpool, N.Y., and Ms. Nicole Towns of Pembroke, Ga.; a son Mr. Kevin(Mary) Patterson of Pembroke, Ga.; two sisters Mrs. Mary Alice Dewberry and Mr. Vernell Shuler both of Syracuse, N.Y.; one brother Mr. Jimmy Lee Jennings of Orangeburg, S.C.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 1pm at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, Groveland Ga., with Bishop K.E. McNeal, eulogist, Dr. L. Perry McNeal, pastor. Interment will be held in Stevens Grove Cemetery, Pembroke, Ga. Family visitations will be Friday, January 27, 2012 from 6-8pm at Mt.
