Mr. Osborne Corell Johnson Jr. age 65, passed away Friday evening July 6th at his residence after an extended illness under the care of the Ogeechee Area Hospice Center. He was a Screven County native, but resided in Bulloch County for many years. He was a member of the Simmons Branch Baptist Church of Sylvania, Ga., and he retired as a farmer. He is survived by a daughter Ms. Kimberly Johnson of Brooklet, Ga.; a son Mr. Shawn Johnson of Portal, Ga.; four sisters Mrs. Sarah Ferrell and Mrs. Gracie Mae Hendrix both of Statesboro, Ga., Mrs. Katherine Murray of Sylvania, Ga., and Mrs. Ossie Mae Hendrix of Jesup, Ga.; three brothers Mr. John Willie Johnson and Mr. George Johnson both of Statesboro, Ga., and Mr. Arthur Green of Pittsburgh, PA.; five grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday July 14, 2012 at 2pm in the Chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro, Ga., with Bishop Jasper Lee, eulogist and the Rev. Craig R. Tremble, presiding. Interment will be in the Eastside Cemetery, East Oliff Street, Statesboro, Ga. Family visitations will be Friday July 13, 2012 from 7-8pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel.
