Mr. Orlander Brown, age 68, passed away Saturday February 25th at Westwood Nursing Home under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice after a short illness. He was a Bulloch County native and of the Baptist faith. He retired from the Georgia Southern University. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Sallie Brown of Portal, Ga.; a son Mr. Alexander Brown of Portal, Ga.; five sisters Ms. Berina Brown of Portal, Ga., Mrs. Ailene dock of Tampa, Fla., Ms. Merlene Brown and Ms. Vicki Brown both of Statesboro, Ga., and Ms. Corine Brown of Boston, Mass.; five brothers Mr. Willie Fred(Mary) Brown, Mr. Bobby Brown, and Mr. Donald Brown all of Boston, Mass., Mr. James(Olga) Brown of North Carolina, and Mr. William(Vera Mae) Brown of Statesboro, Ga.; a granddaughter Aleah Brown of Portal, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral will be Friday March 2, 2012 at 2pm in the Chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro, Ga., with Rev. Shane Mosley, officiating. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery, East Oliff Street, Statesboro, Ga. Family visitations will be Thursday March 1, 2012 from 7-8pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel.
