Mr. Oliver Nunnally Sr., age 97, passed peacefully away on Friday December 27th at East Georgia Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. He was native of Screven County and retired as a mechanic and bus driver. He was a member of the Springhead Untied Methodist Church where he served as a treasure and trustee. He is survived by his loving wife of 74 years Mrs. Genetha Nunnally of Statesboro, Ga.; his loving daughter Mrs. Barbara Lee(Ernest) of Statesboro, Ga.; his loving son Mr. Oliver Nunnally Jr.(Linda) of Statesboro, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing will be Wednesday January 1st from 12-8pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Home going celebration for Mr. Oliver Nunnally Sr. will be Thursday January 2nd at 11am at Springhead United Methodist Church, Sylvania, Ga., with Pastor Marshell Howell, Officiating. Interment will be held in Bulloch Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 80 East, Statesboro, Ga. Mr. Oliver Nunnally Sr. will lie-in-state from 10am until funeral hour, no viewing after eulogy. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Springhead Untied Methodist Church Building Fund, 107 Springhead Road, Sylvania, Ga. 30467 Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
