On April 05, 1940, the late Mr. John Spivey and Claudia Mae Talley Spivey were blessed by God with a bundle of joy named Thelma Turner. In her 85 years she touched many lives with her laughter, love for cooking, love of NBA basketball, talking with family and friends, and sewing. She was a child of GOD and a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church. The pages in her book ended in the early morning of Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Piedmont Augusta in Augusta, GA.

She was preceded in death by her siblings Johnnie Mae Pinkett, Willie Spivey, Mildred Spivey, Gloria Lawson, and Roy Spivey.

Mrs. Thelma memories will linger in the hearts of her husband, Willie Edward Turner of Augusta, GA; children, Sandra Turner of Silver Spring, MD, Byron Turner (Janel) of Stafford, VA, Sherry Turner and Tenesha Davis of Lawrenceville, GA; her grandchildren, Justin Turner of Bowie, MD, and Christian Turner of Essex, MD; siblings, Minnie Hagans, of Queens, NY, Beatrice Spivey of Brooklyn, NY, Henry Spivey of Decatur, GA, Hattie Braddy of Brooklyn, NY, Norvia Dahmer of Xenia, OH, Jacqueline Spivey of Stone Mountain, GA, and Phyllis Spivey (Anthony Gray) of Glendora, CA, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 from 10:00a.m.-11:00a.m. at William Funeral Home, 1765 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Augusta, GA 30901.

Celebration of Life graveside service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 12noon at Mount Olive Memorial Garden, 366 Deans Bridge Road, Hephzibah, GA 30815. Rev. Craig R. Tremble, Eulogist.

Repast will be held at Belle-Terrace Presbyterian Church, 2473 Golden Camp Rd, Augusta, GA 30906.
