Tremble Funeral Homes, Inc, Statesboro Chapel, along with the Family, announce the passing of Mr. Raymond Miller, Sr. Mr. Raymond Miller, Sr., age 89, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Tattnall Healthcare Center in Reidsville, GA. He was a native of Paterson, New Jersey where he worked as a self-employed truck driver before residing in Statesboro, GA. for over 26 years. Mr. Raymond was a Veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a security guard with the Statesboro Mall until his health failed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles C. and Merdice Miller, Jr.; children; Raymond Miller, Cheryl-Miller Keyes and Duane Miller; brother, Calvin Miller; sisters, Harriet Miller-Watson, Alice E. Miller; great grandson, JaTim Miller. He is survived by his children, Murdice Miller-Ellis of Statesboro, Claudette Miller-Flores of Paterson, NJ., Tanjou Miller-Payne of Richmond, VA, Kevin Miller of Killeen, TX. and Anthony Al Brack of Marietta, GA.; sister, Charlene Miller-Mann of Statesboro, GA.; 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
