Mr. Maryland Gillis Jr. Obituary Mr. Maryland Gillis, age 70, of Vidalia, GA., passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at East Georgia Medical Regional Center. He was a native of Toombs County, but resided in Atlanta, GA for over 30 years before returning back to his hometown of Vidalia, GA. Maryland was employed with Proctor & Gamble for many years until his health failed. He is survived by his son, Gregory Gillis of Laurel, MD. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
