Mrs. Minnie Lou Coney, age 84, passed peacefully away in Alexandria, Virginia on Saturday November 1st, after an extended illness. She was a Bullloch County native but resided in Alexandria, Virginia for many years. She retired as a private home care giver and was a member of Mount Jezreel Baptist Church of Alexandria, Virginia. She is survived by her loving daughter Mrs. Linda Simmons(Angelo) of Statesboro, Ga.; her loving brothers Mr. Paul Lanier of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Mr. Bobby Lanier of Jesup, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Minnie Lou Coney are incomplete, but will be announced later by Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel.
