Mrs. Mattie Lee Geiger, age 82, passed peacefully away Saturday morning April 11th at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility after an extended illness. She was a native of Dover, Ga., but resided in Bulloch County for many years. She was a member of the True Gospel Church of Leefield, Ga. She is survived by her loving children Mr. Willie Geiger of Brooklet, Ga., Mr. Richard Geiger of Alamo, Ga., Mrs. Betty Hill(Billy) of Brooklet, Ga., Mrs. Martha Robinson(Terry) of Statesboro, Ga., Ms. Elizabeth Gamble, Ms. Percimichelle Geiger, and Mr. Curtis Geiger all of Brooklet, Ga.; and a hos of other relatives and friends. Family and friends visitation will be held Friday April 17, 2015 from 7-8pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Home Going Celebration Services for Mrs. Mattie Lee Geiger will be held Saturday April 18, 2015 at 12pm at Little Bethel Baptist Church, Railroad Street, Brooklet, Ga., with the Elder Robert Reynolds Sr., Presiding, and Bishop Jasper Lee, Eulogist, and the Rev. John T. McPhatter, Pastor. Interment will be held in Charlestown United Methodist Church Cemetery, Sylvania, Ga. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
