Mrs. Mary Lee Gordon Jones, age 79, passed away into eternal rest on Friday evening June 7th at her residence. She was a Screven County native but resided in Bulloch County for many years. She was a faithful member of the Simmons Branch Baptist Church of Sylvania, Ga., where she served as President of the Usher Board. She retired from Howard Lumbar Company of Statesboro, Ga., and was a Home Care Provider. She was a friend to all and she enjoyed life. She is survived by her brother Mr. Rufus Gordon of Statesboro, Ga., and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lee Gordon Jones will be Tuesday June 11th at 11am at Simmons Branch Baptist Church, Hwy. 301 North, Sylvania, Ga., with Rev. Joe Herrington, Pastor/ Officiating. Interment will be held in Church Cemetery. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
