Mrs. Malynda "Moot" Raymond, age 72, passed peacefully away on Saturday July 15th at East Georgia Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. She was a Bulloch County native and a member of the Summer Hill Baptist Church of Statesboro. She is survived by her loving husband Mr. Lenard Raymond of Statesboro, Ga.; her loving children Joe (Vickie) Wallace, Freddie Wallace, Terrell Raymond, Lakeisha Raymond, Charisma Raymond all of Statesboro, Ga., Leon Wallace of Sylvania, Ga., Leonard Jackee Raymond of Reidsville, Ga., Takiya Raymond of Savannah, Ga., and Ronald (Sharon) Wells, Paulette Wells, and a host of children she helped raised; and other relatives and friends. Family and friends visitations will be held Friday July 21, 2017 from 7-8pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Home Going Celebration for Mrs. Malynda Raymond will be held Saturday July 22, 2017 at 11am at the Miller Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Hwy. 24 East, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Harry J. Tremble, Jr., Presiding/Pastor, and the Rev. Hayward Dock, Eulogist. Interment will be held in Bulloch Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 80 East, Statesboro, Ga. Mrs. Malynda Raymond will lie-in-state from 10am until funeral hour. There will be no viewing after eulogy. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
