Obituary

Mrs. Maggie Mae Baldwin, age 77, passed away peacefully at Ogeechee Area Hospice after a brief illness. She was a Bulloch County native and a retired employee of Brooks Instrumental Division of Emerson Electric in 2000. She was a member of the Hodges Grove Baptist Church where she served on the kitchen committee and the social committee. She was a member of the Pink Flaming Club and the daughter of the Elks Lodge. She is survived by six daughters Ms. Glendora Baldwin of Savannah, Ga., Ms. Brenda Baldwin of Atlanta, Ga., Ms. Donna Baldwin, Ms. Joyce Baldwin, Ms. Colette Baldwin, and Ms. Teresa Baldwin all of Statesboro, Ga.; one son Mr. Henry(Valisha) Baldwin of Valdosta, Ga.; one godson Lavon Smith of Maryland; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday June 11, 2011 at 1pm at Hodges Grove Baptist Church, Miller Street Extension, with Pastor Rev. Dr. John Harmon, eulogist. Interment will be held in Bulloch Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 80 East, Statesboro Ga. Mrs. Maggie Mae Baldwin will lie-in-state from noon until funeral hour. Family visitation will be Friday June 10, 2011 from 8-9pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel
