Mrs. Lula Beatrice Thomas, age 70, passed peacefully away Tuesday morning June 30th at Twinview Nursing Home in Twin City, Ga., after an extended illness. She was an Emmanuel County native and attended the Emmanuel County School System. She was employed as a housekeeper and a member of Roundtree Grove Baptist Church of Twin City, Ga. She is survived by her loving sisters Mrs. Delanin Wilkins(Arder) of Kansas City, KS., and Mrs. Dannie Mae Fann of Twin City, Ga.; her loving brother Mr. Albert Lewis Walker of Stone Mountain, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends visitation will be Monday July 6, 2015 from 7-8pm in the chapel of God's Holy Tabernacle, Twin City, Ga. Home Going Celebration for Mrs. Lula Beatrice Thomas will be Tuesday July 7, 2015 at 1pm at God's Holy Tabernacle, Twin City, Ga., with the Rev. Jacob Bell, Presiding and the Rev. Amos Handsom, Eulogist/Pastor. Interment will be held in Roundtree Grove Church Cemetery, Twin City, Ga. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
