Ms. Lucy JoAnn Smith, age 69, passed away on Monday April 25th at Saint Joseph Hospital of Savannah, Ga., after a brief illness. She was a Bulloch County native, but resided in Chatham County for many years. She had attended the High Hope Center in Statesboro, Ga. She is survived by her loving adopted mother and caregiver since 1997 Mrs. Barbara Lyons Davis of Statesboro, Ga.; a loving special cousin Mr. A.J. Davis of Statesboro, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service for Ms. Lucy Jo Ann Smith will be held Saturday April 30, 2016 at 11am in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, 238 West Main Street, Statesboro, Ga., with Elder Cynthia Bryant, Officiating. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
