Mother Lucy Campbell, age 85, passed peacefully away Wednesday February 20th at her residence under the professional care of Ogeechee Area Hospice after a short illness. She was a Bulloch County native and a member of Miller Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as Church Mother. She enjoyed traveling with her family, fishing, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters Ms. Ruby Campbell of Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Betsy Walker(Willie), Mrs. Eula Moore(Dea. Russell), and Ms. Mary Campbell all of Statesboro, Ga.; her sons Mr. Harry Campbell(Gladys) and Mr. Willie Campbell both of Statesboro, Ga.; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. Family visitations will be Sunday February 24, 2013 from 7-8pm in the Chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Funeral services for Mother Lucy Campbell will be Monday February 25, 2013 at 11am at the Miller Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Hwy. 24 East, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Harry James Tremble Jr., Pastor/Officiating. Interment will be held in Church Cemetery. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
