Lorraine Buist Obituary Ms. Lorraine Buist, age 77, of Pembroke, Ga., passed peacefully on April 11 at her residence under the care of Georgia Hospice. She was a native of Harlem, New York, but has resided in Pembroke, Ga., for three years. She retired from Brookdale Hospital of Brooklyn, New York as a dietary aid worker. Ms. Buist enjoyed reading and attending her church the Beth Yeshua Church of Petersburg, Virginia. She is survived by her loving daughter Ms. Yolanda Buist of Pembroke, Ga.; sisters Mrs. Marie Kortmulder of Charlottesville, Va., Mrs. Laura Keene of Victoria, Va.; brother Mr. Edward Buist of Victoria, Va., two granddaughters Ms. Yasmeen Buist and Ms. Yaziddah Buist both of Pembroke, Ga. Services for Ms. Lorraine Buist were held on Tuesday, April 14, privately with her family. All arrangements and services were entrusted to Craig R. Tremble Funeral Homes, Inc. of Pembroke, GA.
