Mr. Lonnie Carter, Jr., age 70, passed away Monday March 24th at the Savannah Beach Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Tybee Island, Ga. He was a native of South Carolina, but resided in Chatham County for many years. He is retired as an employee with Budweiser Company as a Sales Supervisor. He enjoyed cooking and riding motorcycles. He is survived by his loving children Mrs. Cynthia Carter Simmons of Rincon, Ga., Ms. Twanda Carter, Mrs. Stephanie Chugani, Mr. Eric Carter(Francene), Mr. Alton Carter, Mrs. Alvina Dixion, and Mr. Gary Carter(Kernethia) all of Savannah, Ga., Mr. Donald Carter(Twranni) and Mrs. Alethia Fy'All both of Atlanta, Ga., Mr. Colvin Carter of New Mexico, and Mrs. Patricia Scott Harris(James) of El Paso, Texas; a loving brother Mr. McArthur Carter of Savannah, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing will be Friday March 28th from 12-8pm at Bynes-Royal Funeral Home, 204 West Hall Street, Savannah, Ga. Celebration of Life services will be Saturday March 29th at 11am at Prayer Temple Church of God In Christ, 702 West Victory Drive, Savannah, Ga., with Elder Eugene Trimble, officiating. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
