Mr. Lee Edward Allen, age 70, of Miami Florida passed away on Wednesday March 9, 2011 at Kindred Hospital of Hollywood Florida. He is the son of the late Lee and Alice Allen. He was a Bulloch County native having resided in Miami Florida for many years. He is survived by a daughter Ms. Janice Phelps of Savannah, Ga.; one son Mr. Herman Fennell of Savannah, Ga.; four sisters Ms. Mary Alice Hagan of Statesboro, Ga., Mrs. Vernita Street, Mrs. Florie(Joe) Simmons and Mrs. Ruby Powell all of Miami, Fla.; four brothers Mr. James(Debra) Allen, and Mr. Fredrick(Jackie) Allen both of Statesboro, Ga., Mr. Eddie Allen of Louisiana, and Mr. Floyd(Rena) Allen of Winston Salem, N.C.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services Saturday March 19, 2011 at 11am in the Chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel, with Rev. Craig R. Tremble, eulogist. Interment will be held in the Mount Zion A.M.E Church Cemetery. Visitations will be Friday March 18, 2011 from 6-8pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home.
