Mr. Jonah MorticianMan Evans, age 21, passed peacefully away on Tuesday morning September 16th at Memorial Health University Medical Center of Savannah, Ga., after a short illness. He was a Chatham County native, but resided in Bulloch County for many years. He was a member of the Church of God Holiness of Faith Church of Nevils, Ga. He was a 2011 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School of Brooklet, Ga., where he sang in the High School Chorus. He loved to sing ,attending church, enjoyed people and worshiping Jesus Christ his savior. He was a former student of Ogeechee Technical College where he majored in Funeral Service. His desire was to become a Funeral Director. He is survived by his parents Mr. Alfred and Minister Arretha Evans of Statesboro, Ga.; his biological mother Mrs. Pauline Brown of Savannah, Ga.; his loving sisters Mrs. Kendra Tremble(Brandon) and Ms. Shondria Evans both of Statesboro, Ga., Mrs. Quintel Brown(Anthony) of Savannah, Ga., Ms. Tiffany Howell of Atlanta, Ga., and Mrs. Smeria Hunt(Junior) of Texas; his loving brothers Mr. Royal Evans, Mr. Josh Evans, Mr. Deion Evans, Mr. Devon Evans(Alexis), and Mr. Christopher Evans all of Statesboro, Ga., Mr. Fred Brown and Mr. Robert Brown both of Savannah, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing will be held Friday September 26th from 3:30-8pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Home Going Celebration for Mr. Jonah MorticianMan Evans will be Saturday September 27th at 1pm at Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1579 Bragan Road, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Ronald Murphy, officiating and the Rev. Morris Reddick, Pastor. Interment will be held in Church Cemetery. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
