Mr. Johnnie Lee Williams, age 78, passed into eternal rest on Sunday morning April 3, 2011 after an extended illness at Sylview Nursing Home in Sylvania, Ga., under the care of Hospice Advantage of Statesboro, Ga. He was a native of Emanuel County, but resided in Portal, Ga. He is survived by his loving wife Mrs. Hannah Williams of Portal, Ga.; a daughter Ms. Irene Williams of Portal, Ga.; two sons Mr. James(Kimberly) Williams and Mr. John(Connie) Williams both of Statesboro, Ga.; two sisters Ms. Teresa Wright and Mrs. Roberta(Henry) Grooms both of Sanford, Fla.; three brothers Mr. Sam Williams of Orlando, Fla., Mr. Jo Paul Williams of Rochester, N.Y., and Mr. Dennis Williams of Sanford, Fla.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Johnny Lee Williams will be Saturday April 9, 2011 at 1pm at Banks Creek Primitive Baptist Church, Portal Ga., with Elder Joseph Mosley, officiating. Interment will be held in Munlin Cemetery, Hwy. 25, Portal, Ga. Viewing will be held Friday April 8, 2011 from 10am-7pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel in charge of services.
