Mr. Johnny Johnny-Jam Lambert, age 61, of Statesboro, Ga., passed away Tuesday February 9th at his residence after an extended illness. He is an Effingham County native, but resided in Bulloch County for many years. He was employed with Georgia Southern College(now Georgia Southern University) as a landscaper until his health failed. He was a member of Missions for Souls Church of Brooklet, Ga. He is survived by his loving wife Mrs. Carolyn Lambert of Statesboro, Ga.; his loving children Jonathan Lambert, Connie Denson, Bryan Linder, and Antonio Linder all of Statesboro, Ga., and Tara Ford of Dothan, Al.; his loving sisters Mrs. Dorothy Carter of Brooklyn, N.Y., Mrs. Rosa Lee (Joe) Blount of Sylvania, Ga., Mrs. Deloris Roberts of Statesboro, Ga.; his loving brothers Mr. Alexander (Marsha) Mack of Goldsboro, N.C., Mr. Jerome (Mary) Lambert and Mr. Jack (Melba) Williams Jr. both of Statesboro, Ga., and Mr. Nelson (Jackie) Williams of Goose Creek, S.C.; 15 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends visitations will be Friday February 12, 2016 from 6-7pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Home Going Celebration for Mr. Johnny Lambert will be held Saturday February 13, 2016 at 12pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, 238 West Main Street, Statesboro, Ga., with Pastor Joann Washington, Presiding and Bishop Larry McMillan, Eulogist. Interment will be held in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Brooklet, Ga. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
